Erin Pavlina’s Delightful Story: The Singing Mechanic

I ran across Erin Pavlina’s blog today and was inspired to write!

Erin’s blog is part of a well-populated Spirituality, Relationships and Success website and discussion forum, and this morning I signed up as AbrahamFan29 and posted an introductory message.

While I was reading the recent postings and getting a better feel for the place, I followed a link to Erin Pavlina’s blog, and read her delightful entry about The Singing Mechanic.

Erin Pavlina’s Vibe-Raising Advice

If you haven’t read the article, it’s an interesting little story with a happy ending, so I definitely recommend it.

It’s basic premise is that one sure way to raise your emotional vibration, any time – day or night – is to sing. Sing about things that make your heart soar, or simply sing about things that uplift you slightly from where you are.

What Delightful Songs Do You Sing?

Erin Pavlina’s blog entry got me to thinking – I don’t listen to music very much these days because a lot of what is on the radio is full of drama and angst and pain.

There are a few songs here and there that delight me – silly songs like The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine, or Monty Python’s Always Look on the Bright Side of Life…

But I think I need to build up my music collection more.

Any recommendations, joyous friends? Perhaps I’ll make a playlist of it over on YouTube?

Thanks again for the inspiration, Erin Pavlina!
